1. Seller Eligibility

  • Business registration proof (Company Certificate / GST Registration).

  • Verified bank account details for payouts.

  • Product certifications (where required).


2. Product Listing Guidelines

  • Listings must be accurate and genuine (no false descriptions).

  • Only new products are allowed (refurbished or used items are prohibited).

  • Counterfeit or restricted products are strictly banned.

  • Images and specifications must be clear, original, and detailed.


3. Pricing & Payments

  • Sellers control their product pricing but must include applicable GST.

  • DesktopBazar charges a commission on each successful order (per Seller Agreement).

  • Payouts are released within the settlement cycle after deducting fees/charges.


4. Order Fulfilment

  • Orders must be processed and shipped within the committed time.

  • Proper packaging is mandatory to prevent damage.

  • Tracking details must be updated promptly.

  • Repeated delays may result in penalties or suspension.


5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Sellers should use approved logistics partners where applicable.

  • Late shipments, lost items, or delivery failures due to seller negligence will affect seller ratings.


6. Returns & Refunds

  • Sellers must honour DesktopBazar’s Return & Refund Policy.

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be replaced or refunded.

  • Refunds (if the seller is at fault) will be adjusted against payouts.


7. Prohibited & Restricted Products

Sellers cannot list:

  • Counterfeit, pirated, or replica products.

  • Illegal or hazardous materials.

  • Items that violate intellectual property rights.

  • Products restricted by Indian law.


8. Seller Responsibilities

  • Maintain an updated inventory to avoid overselling.

  • Provide professional customer service.

  • Respond to buyer queries and complaints promptly.

  • Follow GST compliance and tax obligations.


9. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes between buyers and sellers will be handled by DesktopBazar support.

  • Sellers must cooperate and provide documentation for fair resolution.

  • DesktopBazar’s decision in disputes is final.


10. Account Suspension & Termination

Seller accounts may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Fraudulent activities.

  • Misuse of buyer data.

  • Repeated late shipments.

  • Policy violations or illegal activity.


11. Policy Updates

DesktopBazar may update these policies at any time. Sellers will be notified via email or dashboard alerts. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of updated terms.
